I was working on some blog research for work today, and em suggested I make my first blog post to our own personal blog... I thought that was a good place to start. It's Sunday evening and em and I are hanging out at home eating cookies and trying to catch up on some work.
We have had lots of excitement since the last post.
After several weeks of searching we found our home in North Salt Lake with the help of our Super Agent, Katie Thomas. We closed on August 15th and moved in on the 18th. We have been here for almost a month... it has been great. The neighborhood is ideal, we can't imagine a better place to raise children. We hope to be here for many years to come. Work has been busy for em and I including trips to Grand Junction and Ft. Worth for em in the last few weeks and a trip to Simi Valley, CA for me. We spend our weekends working on the house and yard, we are making progress, but still have much to complete.
We found out a couple weeks ago that the baby we are expecting in January is a boy! We are both very excited and work has started on the nursery.

It's about time you updated your blog! I feel so special to be mentioned in it too:) We need to get together so I can give you your house warming gift and gift card. Not so great of an agent since you've been there a month and I haven't gotten it to you yet. We are going to have a BBQ soon. I'll keep you posted.
